Jennifer Lee Welker-Popov, M.A.,LPC

Jennifer began her career as a self starter in her community organizing and helping others find work at a young age. She grew up with a mission in her head and heart to help others and has a passion for the eccentric and creative part of humanity. She learned the fine art of networking at a by seven years old and was offered many jobs that helped shape her into who she is today. By the age of sixteen she was working for a talent agency out of Beverly Hills, learning how to manage actors, musicians, and models. During her college years she became an audio, visual and sound technician, working on stages up in the catwalks and was a assistant director for many plays and continued that work in this arena until her mid-20's. She then found a way to assist humanity at a deeper level and became a certified massage therapist in Lake Tahoe, California. Soon after she went on to earn her bachelor’s in Psychology and Marketing with a minor in music at California State University, Dominguez Hills. Then went on to graduate school to receive her doctorate in Clinical Psychology at the Illinois School of Professional Psychology in Schaumburg, Illinois in 2013. She is a Licensed professional counselor (LPC).

During her educational journey she traveled around the world working as a independent consultant with different media, production, marketing and promotional groups managing events, and working as personal manager. Some of the countries she was sent to and worked her magic were France, Scotland, Italy, Syria, Spain, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Mexico, St. Lucia, Aruba and Bulgaria. She has also traveled and worked all over the United States. Upon her graduation from University she decided to change her career path just a bit and was sent on an internship to learn guerrilla marketing tactics on the presidential campaign in Chicago, Illinois in 2008.

Throughout her personal and professional path she managed to keep herself balanced through spiritual practices with a Native American community that she stayed in contact with for over thirteen years, Kayumari - Center for Sacred Studies and The Stargate Mystery School in California. The Stargate curriculum draws upon breathwork, transpersonal psychology, sound healing, and meditation techniques to delve into the Mystery, an alchemical process that meets you where you are and helps you to realign with your soul’s purpose to be your most authentic self.

Jennifer has an absolute passion for working in many different

areas of production, documentaries, television, film, being a field producer, event manager, has a fascination with technology, communications, being a change agent, is a natural at marketing, networking, clinical psychology, education, business, and loves science, space, spirituality team building, hugging and making people smile.

Jennifer is an experienced mental health care provider with strong background in entertainment industry, media relations, marketing, sales, as well as adolescent, adult, senior care and works with physical, developmental and intellectual disorders. Her experience is within management, media productions, field production, theater production coordinating and managing events, personal management, and well being management. She has worked as a location manager, production assistant and manager, personal manager for directors, producers, editors, and is an event coordinator and event manager. In addition, she's a networking "queen" and is your on staff clinical therapist. She works with families, children and young adults within multi-cultural and multi-ethnic populations, includes case management, developing programs, worked as a director of community relations and has owned her own independent contracting business for over 25 years.

Jennifer is an accomplished account management executive and event manager that works with building business relationships and societal marketing with many years of experience within media, production, entertainment, and behavioral health industries. Her variety of talents will greatly benefit a company interested in hiring, consulting with, working online or having her join your crew, she is a dependable person that will help devise strategies and policies to ensure that an organization meets its vision, mission and goals.
